Channeling on the Point of Balance

a message from Tohar about seeing the whole picture beyond right and wrong

Greetings.

So, we begin. We wish to remind you of the Point of Balance. When human beings seek to return to equilibrium, what they truly long for is to return to the Point of Balance — that subtle space of consciousness where you can hold everything that exists without becoming fully identified with any of it. You can hold both despair and hope, both desire and resistance, both the dream and the disappointment.

We remind you of the Point of Balance and encourage you to reconnect with it. When you notice that you are deeply identified with a certain experience or situation, see if there might be another way to look at it. Perhaps there is resistance toward what you say you want. Perhaps you are afraid of what excites you. Perhaps hope still exists even when despair feels stronger. Perhaps possibilities remain, even when every door seems closed. Perhaps you are doing better than you believe. Perhaps there are blessings in your life, even when you cannot see them.

Try to view things from another perspective. It is not always necessary — yet often it is wise. When you can see the other side of things, a fuller picture begins to emerge. From that space, your actions in life can become more aligned, more intelligent. You can move along the path that is truly right for you, at the rhythm that fits you best.

You can practice this through meditation: close your eyes, set an intention, and ask to connect with the Point of Balance regarding a specific matter — an area of your life where you feel overly identified with one side, creating struggle; where things are not as you wish them to be, and change seems out of reach. Set the intention to connect with the Point of Balance, and from there discover what true equilibrium is — what is really happening, and who you are.
