The reason why the world – and you – will never be the same

Tohar’s wisdom on understanding change, reclaiming power, and embracing renewal

“We want to say once again that the world you live in will never return to what it was. You will not return to who you once were. This world is changing. At times, you will be shaken by the change, and at other times, you will welcome it. In any case, we say this – the change is happening, it is not yet complete, and what is taking place in this world at this time is both a reorganization and a struggle between those pulling backward and those moving forward.

“This is not the time to draw conclusions about what the world will be like. Do not settle for what is now, and do not assume that what exists today is the final state. Do not think that who you are now is all you will ever be – unless that is what you choose. Either way, we say – do not expect, neither from the world nor from yourself, to return to what you were.

“We understand that humans often feel attached to the past. That is why we say: it is fading away, and it cannot return, even if you deeply wish for it. Your world is changing. You are changing. Sometimes the changes are small; other times, they are significant. Sometimes, when you look back just a few years, you will see a fundamental transformation. Other times, it will seem less so.

“This world is changing, and this transformation is not the result of your conscious choice. The events taking place are vast, and your ability to influence them is therefore limited. Because of this, you may feel like victims of this change – feeling anger, grief, or self-pity.

“You may struggle with this world that is shifting in ways you did not plan for or desire, in ways that affect you without your consent. Feel these emotions if they arise. But also know that you are here, in this world, at this time, for a good reason.

“Some of you could have left long ago, withdrawn, departed from your body, and moved on. Yet here you are. You are all here. And there is a good reason for that.

“This world, which is transforming, brings with it the opportunity for a rebirth, because what once was is no longer the same. Systems are shifting, and sometimes they cease to function. Those who hold power behave in ways that you can no longer rely on as you once did.

“You have the opportunity to undergo a profound transformation – a shift in your perception, a shift in power, and in how you distribute it. How much power do you give to others, and how much do you claim for yourself in your daily life? This can change fundamentally. How much do you become the center of your own world, and how much do you continue to let others take that place instead?

“Different people will undergo different changes. But overall, we say that the shared transformation available to all of humanity is the return of each individual to being the center of their own world. This is now a greater possibility than before.

“Because those who were at the center of your world no longer function as you wished or as you were accustomed to – whether they be individuals, institutions, systems, or governments – you now have the chance to reclaim your place as the center of your own world. Do you want this? If so, open yourself to what you do not yet know and practice self-satisfaction.

“In what ways can you be satisfied with yourself and your life? See what is good within you and in your life. Notice what you have, both within and around you. And sometimes, look for the good even in what you perceive as bad. In this way, more and more, you can become the center of your own world.

“If this is what you desire, if this is what you choose, know that in doing so, you are also contributing to the transformation of the world.
It may seem paradoxical, but if you choose this path, you actually contribute to the growing chaos.
The more people reclaim their power, the more the overall structure of power shifts, requiring the world to rebuild itself. The process of rebuilding often brings upheaval, and you are now within it.

“Healing work and personal growth do not necessarily create an immediately better world. Many times, especially in times like these, they contribute to disruption. You contribute to this, because the balance of power must shift. When you choose to change, you change the world.

“We do not say this to make you feel guilty, because what you are doing is good. We say this so that you remember that change is complex, and when you transform, it does not immediately make the world a better place. It creates change, and change is necessary. The forces must shift.

“The collective choice of humanity is to create a profound transformation. The collective choice is for rebirth. The rebirth of humanity requires a restructuring of power, and you are within this transformation. This is not the beginning of the change, nor its middle, nor its end. You are on the path.

“Focus on yourself more than anything else. If you want to undergo a profound change in your life, you can do so. You do not need to wait for the world. If you do not wish to, that is fine. If you do, that is fine as well. Act according to your truth. What do you want? This is the first gate of choice”.
