More than 25 years have passed since I discovered the book E.T. 101. The book’s cover, which reads “The Cosmic Instruction Manual for Planetary Evolution, created in collaboration between the Control Center and Zoev Jho”, intrigued me greatly. I purchased the book and took it with me on my first flight to New York. To this day, I remember how I burst into laughter while reading it. The book was dedicated by the Intergalactic Council with the following words: “The three-dimensional edition of the stellar instruction manual for star evolution is dedicated to all our relatives”.
Published in 1990, the book serves as a guide for members of the Light Expedition who have arrived on Earth, forgotten their mission details, and need this manual to awaken to their true identity and take their positions on time — as much as possible.
The identity of the author, Diana Luppi, and even more so, the source of this knowledge, is written in a way that is both clear and mysterious at the same time. This is reinforced by the introduction, in which the Control Center explains that following her awakening process, Luppi connected to her true essence and thus to her name, Zoev Jho.
A few years ago, I reached out to Luppi and asked to interview her. This is how this conversation was born.
What led you to write the book?
“The way I forced myself, with a little help from friends, to complete a mission I agreed to before arriving here was somewhat winding.
“In the period leading up to writing E.T. 101, I worked at a prestigious, award-winning newspaper. I approached the newspaper’s editorial team with a proposal to create a New Age supplement, similar to their arts supplement and other occasional publications they produced. They recoiled. Essentially, they thought the New Age was nonsense. However, I quickly demonstrated that they were the only ones who thought so by creating a highly profitable New Age supplement that was well-regarded throughout the city.
“As a result of this successful endeavor, I was asked to write a New Age column, despite their veiled disdain. Accounting won — what a surprise.
“During the publication process of the first and subsequent supplements, I started getting bored with the New Age, which often wasn’t much different in content from what preceded it. That is, until a surprising visit to my office by two actual extraterrestrials.
“That event caught my attention far more than health trends, aura balancing, and yoga, so it became the only subject I was interested in covering in my column. The problem was figuring out how to approach it.
“I decided — in a moment of great genius — that there was a fundamental flaw in people’s biases, at least in my country: if you quoted a book, it gained immediate credibility. So I leveraged this flaw, created the book before I had even written it, and quoted from it extensively. This way, I successfully navigated the type of people who controlled the press at that time, including my editor and publisher. Genius! Well… not really.
“I committed to writing and publishing E.T. 101 — a book I had invented, quoted, and even reviewed. Since I had lied to my publisher by telling him the book would soon be published in the city where we lived, I had no choice but to actually publish it — so I did.
“I guess I wasn’t as much of a genius as I thought, but I did feel a presence surrounding me, one that was undoubtedly real”.

Why is the book written in military language?
“E.T. 101 is written in a military style because the world has never known a single day of peace. This is a language most people here are familiar with, and that was the reason for using it in the book.
“It’s important to know that a much larger war is being waged beyond the endless state of conflict that everyone here lives in. It is the ultimate war — and the only real war. It is the war over consciousness, for which all other wars are merely tools of separation and means of destruction.
“For a world at war on every level, military language seemed like an appropriate way to reach the general population, whether they were hiding in trenches or nesting in bunkers”.
Who is the force behind the information in the book?
“The force behind the creation of E.T. 101 is a group of multicultural, multidimensional beings who call themselves the Control Center — not because that is their real name, but because it is an attempt to blend in with the consciousness of the beings on this planet. Besides, they found the name amusing.
“As stated in E.T. 101 and in their own words: ‘The Control Center is the operational arm of the extraterrestrial expedition to Earth. We execute the decisions of the star councils and serve as intermediaries between the members of the expedition who have chosen to serve as ground troops on Earth and those serving in one of the off-planet divisions stationed here’.
“I am a member of this force, serving in a group of expert multilingual linguists whose mission is to translate concepts from a holographic, non-verbal language into simple, spoken English. I’m not sure I would call it channeling, as it was more like an intense debate.”
Love is the only way out
Luppi, as mentioned, realized at some point that she herself was an extraterrestrial, and this happened only when she wrote the book.
“I didn’t fully understand that I wasn’t from Earth until I wrote E.T. 101. After the initial moment of realization, I understood that, in fact, I had always known this to be true. It is an oxymoron that I became aware of when I awakened myself to a different reality, to another world, to another identity that had always been known yet, to some extent, forgotten.
“In this process, memories flowed back into my being, like puzzle pieces falling from the sky. It explained my unusual behavior as a child when, from time to time, I would walk home alone from school, speaking to entities I knew were extraterrestrial, informing them in great detail about the culture surrounding me and the people I interacted with. I explained their mannerisms, their beliefs, and their actions as if I were a little spy reporting to the extraterrestrial center as I had agreed to do. I took it very seriously. After all, it was my first job.
“Another memory that broke through my protective shell was one day when I returned to my apartment after a long and exhausting day at college. I don’t completely remember what happened there, but I closed the apartment door behind me and leaned against it so that nothing could get in. I sighed and said out loud, ‘What made me think I could handle this?’ In that brief moment, I recalled my contract to incarnate on Earth. It was one of several times when I let go of my cover, even for a millionth of a second, and admitted to myself who I was and what I knew. That’s how all the puzzle pieces came together”.
Did this realization cause problems with the people in your life?
“Most people in my life handled my revelation quite well. In fact, they seemed relieved, as if it explained something about me. I had no idea what that something was, or I would tell you. Perhaps I hadn’t kept my cover as well as I thought.
“However, my family was a different story. The book, E.T. 101, was a great source of embarrassment for them. Not only did the book confirm what they had always suspected — that I was truly crazy — but on top of everything, I denied being Italian. A heretic and a lunatic — a winning combination.
“I protested, telling them I had never claimed to be Italian. They were the ones who said that. All I ever said was that I had requested good hair before coming here, and this family was where I landed. By the way, I really did say this as a child; it was another slip of the tongue.
“Somehow, my argument eluded them. By their rules, borrowing DNA is not allowed, and inevitably, you’re stuck with it for life. I must say, this is an excellent example of the distorted belief system I used to report to the Control Center as a 7-year-old spy”.
Where in the universe are you from? And why are you here?
“Asking me where I am from in our universe is like slapping a map of New Jersey on the kitchen table and asking God where He is located on the map, then saying His answer is unacceptable because He’s pointing to Trenton, New Jersey. But heaven isn’t on the map, is it?
“As for why I am here, I have ruled out masochism — a very strong possibility that accompanied me for a long time, which was ultimately dismissed due to a lack of any evidence of enjoyment. I have also ruled out learning as a potential factor because if anyone learned anything on this planet, why do they repeat it over and over to the point of nausea? Learning is not an option since I have found no evidence of it. I am also not here on vacation.
“I represent forces that know you will never have any political powers to free you from your prison cells because those who created them helped ensure that captivity is their goal. The only way out of this high-security facility is through consciousness, and love is the only exit door there is. I am here to assist in a global release from imprisonment, like many, many others”.
Embracing our true identity
Luppi self-published the book, and it quickly became a great success. She shares: “The book was surprisingly well received. It became an underground hit almost immediately in the United States, meaning that only alternative centers distributed it. The major distributors wouldn’t touch it because it was self-published. That changed quickly when Harper Collins, aware of the book’s success, offered to acquire it.
“I never sought their help, but for the sake of the book and given their global distribution network, I felt obligated to sell it so it could reach a wider audience. Without Harper Collins, that never would have happened. However, without them, a lot of harmful events wouldn’t have happened either. Thanks to their breach of contract, the rights to E.T. 101 returned to me.”
A few years ago, the book was republished in several countries.
“Although I had read the book many times, not only during the writing process but also in preparing it for print, that was not the same as reading it with no particular purpose. I did that only once, in March 1990. It was a breathtaking experience because I could see all the codes embedded in it. I felt humbled and honored to be entrusted with such a multidimensional task, and I was very grateful that I hadn’t been fully aware of it while writing.
“Recently, while preparing for a radio interview, I read the book again. As I went through it, the book revealed itself to me once more, and a new level of codes emerged. My God, this must have been embedded in the writing at a level I couldn’t see back then.
“In that moment, I realized that the book was meant to be distributed twice by the architects behind its creation, at a specific timing. So here we are again, 25 years later, and as a bridge to the next generation of star seeds, E.T. 101 is mysteriously reappearing. This book is pure code. It always has been, and it still is”.
What, in your view, prevents us from evolving? And how can we help ourselves?
“The main obstacle I see to our evolution is our sense of identity. This is an identity that was created by a control matrix that deliberately sought to enslave the inhabitants of this planet.
“Collectively, we look outside ourselves, into a distorted reality, to define who we are; and this false reality, with its parasitic nature, has been more than willing to control our perception and tell us who we are.
“Humanity is now at a spiritual crossroads. Will we allow ourselves to be herded as slaves into a digitally secured prison, or will we drop our cover, reclaim our right, and embrace our true identity?
“The truth is that we are the truth. We are not striving to evolve; we are evolved. We are simply trapped in a spider’s web, silenced and made to forget our true identity, which has never, ever left the source. How all of this will unfold is up to us. The Hopi Indians wisely said it: ‘We are the ones we have been waiting for'”.
