At a session in the Reconnect workshop for learning how to channel that I facilitated, one of the participants asked me what to do about the fact that, at home, alone, his connection to his guides was much harder to achieve compared to what happens during the workshop meetings.
At first, I didn’t know what to tell him. I am familiar with this phenomenon from various workshops I have attended and/or facilitated, and I didn’t know how to help him.
So I did the natural thing- I asked Tohar.
They suggested the following technique: when you want to channel, take four objects and place them around yourself while setting an intention to create a space for channeling. Each object represents an element and serves as an anchor, and they should be arranged in a way that a circle can be drawn between them. These four elements/anchors, they said, create an energetic space within which it will be easier to channel.
According to them, when sitting in a group, the other participants serve as anchors for one another, which does not happen at home. When a person’s four conscious anchors are not stable enough, the connection at home will be weaker or even nonexistent.
To apply this technique, the objects can be anything, though I personally recommend crystals, specifically amethyst.
Later in the session, during one of the meditations, I guided them to do this in their imagination. Some participants later said they felt the effect of this exercise and that it strengthened their connection.
I invite you to try it as well 🙂 Experiment with both physical objects and visualization, and discover what works best for you.
